YAK 54
What started out to be a few simple changes ended up as a new plane. The New YAK 54 went through a total redesign from the wheels up. We made it lighter ( by 5 pounds) using newer modern materials which also made it stronger, We made it better looking, Reduced the number of part in the kit to build, cutting down build time and actually making it easier to build. Added a new airfoil. What was once a good flier is now an UNBELIVEABLE preformer
The YAK is a great flying airplane and we have made some great changes including a new cowl for a much better look.
The redesign now has a foam belly pan and foam hatch. Less parts and lighter material for a faster build and improved performance.
The YAK 54 is available now. We cut every kit when you place the order so if we have made a change to make it better you get that generation.
All the parts for our kits are cut in house using the latest CNC processes including two CNC hot wire foam cutters, a CNC 130 watt laser and a very large CNC router. All kits are cut to order so allow time for your personal kit to be cut!!
